I have always believed that great beginnings last a lifetime. As a dancer I knew that my life on the stage had limitations, so I enrolled at the London College of Fashion to become a makeup artist and hairdresser for film/theatre. I have always believed that to be the best, you must train with the best. After graduating, I joined the legendary hairstylist Vidal Sassoon and was quickly promoted to Artistic Director. Soon I was traveling the world, presenting hair and fashion shows to major audiences. Realizing that when the lights go out after the show, the inspiration and motivation lose their sizzle, I launched MOD magazine then created HairDesignerTV.com. Now hairstylists and business owners connect with me 24/7.
I have always wanted to make a difference in people’s lives, to feed their heart and their pocket. This is why I was so impressed when I met John Maxwell during an interview with Joyce Meyers, with whom I have partnered for the last 10 years. I bought John’s books and shared what I was learning with my hairdressing community. I joined the Maximum Impact Club, then created a John Maxwell page on my website, HairDesignerTV.com. As a woman of faith, I fell in love with John’s profound wisdom and teachings. I have found my great mentor.
